When I was about 15 I hooked into a 33lb Chinook off the pier in Muskegon. The best thing was that My buddy gave me his new pole to hold onto while he went to the bathroom. When he came back, I had a crowd of about 30 people watching, and the big king had stretched out the first 100 yards of his mono. It took about three trips to Milwaukee before he was tired enough to net and then, I GAVE IT AWAY!!! Live and learn.
