Kenai King Salmon
This message posted by Steve Frombach on 5/14/97.
In July of 1989 I caught a large king of 53lbs. 6oz. from the Kenai
River with Ron Wilson's Inland Charters out of my home state of WA.
His Guide service is now defunct, but this is the place to go for BIG
kings. My dad got one 63+ lbs. on the same trip. Do yourself a favor, book an out of state guide when fishing in Alaska
as they are not so used to fishing on "premier" fisheries such as the
Kenai all year long and know how to catch fish or will learn quick
because they do so to survive in the business in the lower 48 where
fish are less prevalent.
