(Note: The Volume Control Window is only available in registered versions of Ozapell Music Studio 2.)
The Volume Control Window allows for easier and faster changes to the volume settings of all of the tracks on a page as well as the page itself.
The settings for each track are applied after any filters are applied to that track. Each beat, however, can then use additional filters and may further alter the volume of the sound used.
The settings for the page are applied after any filters are applied to the page.
The Use checkbox must be checked in order to have the volume settings for that page or track used.
The three scrollbars are used to alter the volume (amplitude) of the track. The "Both" scrollbar simply allows the left and right channels to be changed simultaneously. The "Left" and "Right" scrollbars affect each channel separately.
As mentioned elsewhere, the volume controls within Ozapell Music Studio 2 actually alter the amplitude (signal strength) of the sound. The volume (specified in decibels) refers to the actual loudness. As the output of the sound will vary, an accurate description of the volume is unavailable. Using the amplitude settings should provide a good reference for mixing purposes. The Volume Control Window will allow the user to more accurately test the settings until the ideal volume levels are found.
The Volume Control Window settings are exported with a page export, but they are not exported with tracks or beats.
