g_Add

Reference
Index

This Generator adds two other Generators together.

How Does It Work?

ADD simply adds one Generator, linked through the Function A parameter, to a second Generator, linked through the Function B parameter. If the sum of the two functions turns out to be greater that 100.0%, then the value will automatically be clamped to 100.0%.

F1ADD is a little different from other generators in that it doesn't include the common set of generator parameters, such as Frequency.

Hints!

The ADD function is good for adding roughness to another Generator. See the figure F1 for an example of noise added to a Sine Wave.  To do this, you will want to have a low Amplitude and Shift on your Noise Generator.
