Performing a clean install

To install EROL 2 onto a machine with no previous versions of EROL (including demos):
1. Ensure that you have closed all programs.
2. Go to the Start Menu, and select the Run option. Type X:\setup.exe where X is the letter of your CD ROM drive. Click "OK".
3. Read through the License Agreement displayed, and click "I Agree" if you agree to the terms set out in the agreement. Clicking "Cancel" will exit the EROL installer.
4. Follow the instructions displayed on screen.
5. During the installation, the EROL installer will check your version of Internet Explorer. If you have version 5 or less, or if you do not have Internet Explorer installed, it will be installed during the installation.
6. Once EROL has been installed, you will be prompted to restart your computer. Accept this.
8. When your computer has restarted, EROL can be started by either clicking on the desktop icon, or from the Dreamteam Products group in the start menu.


Installing EROL 2 over an EROL 2 Demo

To install EROL 2 onto a machine with a demo version of EROL 2 already installed on it:
1. Ensure that you have closed all programs.
2. Go to the Start Menu, and select the Run option. Type X:\setup.exe where X is the letter of your CD ROM drive. Click "OK".
3. Read through the License Agreement displayed, and click "I Agree" if you agree to the terms set out in the agreement. Clicking "Cancel" will exit the EROL installer.
4. Follow the instructions displayed on screen.
5. DO NOT select the directory that your demo version is installed in as your EROL install directory.
6. Once EROL has been installed, you will be prompted to restart your computer. Accept this.
7. When your computer has restarted, EROL can be started by either clicking on the desktop icon, or from the Dreamteam Products group in the start menu.
8. Transfer any work you may have performed in the demo to your new version of EROL 2 by using the EROL Import feature (using the 'Import EROL 2 store' option).
9. Once safely imported into EROL 2, you can uninstall your demo.


Installing EROL 2 over EROL 1

Installing EROL 2 over EROL 1 To install EROL 2 onto a machine with EROL 1 already installed on it:
1. Ensure that you have closed all programs.
2. Go to the Start Menu, and select the Run option. Type X:\setup.exe where X is the letter of your CD ROM drive. Click "OK".
3. Read through the License Agreement displayed, and click "I Agree" if you agree to the terms set out in the agreement. Clicking "Cancel" will exit the EROL installer.
4. Follow the instructions displayed on screen.
5. DO NOT select the directory that your EROL 1 store is installed in as your EROL install directory.
6. During the installation, the EROL installer will check your version of Internet Explorer. If you have version 5 or less, or if you do not have Internet Explorer installed, it will be installed during the installation.

9. Transfer (if you wish) your entire EROL 1store to your new version of EROL 2 by using the EROL Import feature (using the 'Import EROL 1 store' option).
10. Once safely imported into EROL 2, you can uninstall EROL 1 from your system.


Installing EROL 2 over EROL Small Store Edition

To install EROL 2 onto a machine with a copy of EROL Small Store Edition on it:
1. Ensure that you have closed all programs.
2. Go to the Start Menu, and select the Run option. Type X:\setup.exe where X is the letter of your CD ROM drive. Click "OK".
3. Read through the License Agreement displayed, and click "I Agree" if you agree to the terms set out in the agreement. Clicking "Cancel" will exit the EROL installer.
4. Follow the instructions displayed on screen.
5. DO NOT select the directory that your Small Store Edition is installed in as your EROL install directory.
6. Once EROL has been installed, you will be prompted to restart your computer. Accept this.
7. When your computer has restarted, EROL can be started by either clicking on the desktop icon, or from the Dreamteam Products group in the start menu.
8. Transfer any work you may have performed in the demo to your new version of EROL 2 by using the EROL Import feature (using the 'Import Small Store' option).
9. Once safely imported into EROL 2, you can uninstall EROL Small Store Edition from your system.
