Xara Webster - Using a Bitmap to Fill Objects
You can use any of the bitmaps in the Bitmap Gallery or the Clipart
Gallery to fill an object. You can also import a bitmap and use
it as a fill.
- Open the Bitmap Gallery.
- Scroll down until you see the bitmap you want.
- Drag and drop the bitmap onto the center of the object.
Remember you can only fill solid objects, not lines.
Bitmaps in the Clipart Gallery
- Open the Clipart Gallery. There is a wide range of suitable
bitmaps in the Textures sections.
- Click on the bitmap you want.
- Click the Import button at the top of the Gallery. This imports
the bitmap into the document and makes it available in the Bitmap
Gallery.
- You can now delete the imported bitmap. (Use Delete on the
Edit menu.) Until you quit Webster, the bitmap remains available
in the Bitmap Gallery.
- You can now fill the object as described above.
The bitmap is saved with the document and you can use it again
in the future.
