Purpose
This page lets you mark the message as a routed message. A routed message is sent to each recipient in turn. The next recipient in the route list will only receive the message once the last person has pressed the Pass On button at the top of the message. All non local recipients, such as Internet recipients will be sent the message after the last person in the route list has passed the message on. This function is a useful way of circulating important mail for approval prior to sending it outside the organisation.
Usage
If you wish to mark this message as a routed message, check the Send as routed document check box.
All recipients of the message will appear in the list. You can change the order in which the recipients will receive the message by selecting a recipient and pressing the To Top, Raise, Lower or To Bottom buttons.
If you are not one of the recipients of the message, then you may specify that the message be returned to you once it has been passed on by the last recipient in the list by checking the Return to sender check box.
If you require each recipient of the message to confirm that they are the rightful viewer of the message, then you can specify that OfficeTalk asks each user to enter their password in order to pass on the message. You can do this by checking the Require Signature check box.
