Search Database dialog box

Purpose

This dialog box lets you search through all data held within OfficeTalk.

Usage

Option Description
Field Select which fields you wish to search. You may choose from Name/Subject fields only, All text fields, Category fields, All fields.
Text Enter the text that you wish to search for into this field.
Tasks Check this check box if you wish to search through all users' tasks.
Appointments Check this check box if you wish to search through all users' appointments.
Resource Bookings Check this check box if you wish to search through all resources' appointments.
Project Tasks Check this check box if you wish to search through project tasks.
Mail Check this check box if you wish to search through your mail.
Meetings Check this check box if you wish to search through meetings.
Contact Information Check this check box if you wish to search through contact information.
In each of the above cases, you may search through a subset of any data type by selecting the data type and pressing the Details… button. A further dialog box is displayed allowing you to choose specific items through which to search.

When you have selected what to search through, press the Search button. The results will be added to the Results window as and when OfficeTalk finds them. You may stop the search by pressing the Stop button. You may view any item in the Results window at any time by selecting it and pressing the Goto button.
