An item may be deleted permanently without going to the recycle bin by keeping the Shift key depressed whilst pressing the Delete key. OfficeTalk will ask you to confirm this action by displaying the following message box:
You may permanently delete data from the Recycle bin by selecting the items in the Recycle bin and pressing the 
button located in the Shortcut bar. OfficeTalk will ask you to
confirm the permanent deletion prior to performing the action.
