Disabling Public Links

OfficeTalk provides functionality for linking two or more items together using a user link. When an item is linked to one or more other items then a {bmct help0011.bmp} marker is displayed next to the item. Clicking on this marker pops up a menu which lets you view any of the linked items. User links may be either public or private, depending on how the user link is made. If a user makes a public link, then all users will see the link. You can prevent users from creating public links by checking the Disable public links check box in the Options page of the Workgroup property sheet. This will disable all public link buttons throughout OfficeTalk.
