Automatic Purge dialog box

Purpose

This dialog box lets you optionally specify which user's machine will be responsible for performing an automatic purge of redundant change records. Change records are used to synchronise remote workgroups and offline databases with the main database. Purging locates the redundant records and deletes them from the database.

Usage

Select the relevant user from the drop down list and specify the period, days, between automatic purges. If you wish OfficeTalk to e-mail the selected user after the purge has completed, then check the Mail user after purge check box.
