Upgrading from a previous version

Zone Labs security software is designed for easy upgrade from version to version. In most cases, you do not need to uninstall your existing version before upgrading to version 4.5. However, if you are using any version of Integrity Client (for enterprise use only), you should first uninstall that product before proceeding.

To upgrade from a previous version:

Double-click the installation file.



The installation program begins.

Select an upgrade option, then click Next to continue.

Upgrade	This option preserves your existing security settings and applies them to the new version. New features that are added during upgrade receive default settings.
Clean Install	This option discards your existing security settings and restores default settings.
