Installing ZoneAlarm Plus or ZoneAlarm Pro

The installation process for other Zone Labs security software programs, such as ZoneAlarm Pro, and ZoneAlarm Plus, is similar to the process for ZoneAlarm. However, there is no trial upgrade option.

Before you can begin the installation process, you will need to insert the Zone Labs security software CD into your CD-ROM drive, or if you downloaded the software from the Zone Labs Web site, browse to the location on your computer where you saved the installation file.

To install Zone Labs security software:

Double-click the installation file.



The installation program begins.

Either specify a location for the installation files, or click Next to continue.



The default location is C:\Program Files\Zone Labs\ZoneAlarm.

Type your name, company (optional), and e-mail address, then click Next.


Read and accept the license agreement, then click Install.


Click Finish to close the installation program.



If you are upgrading to version 4.5 from a previous version, you may be prompted to restart your computer to complete the installation process.

Click OK to restart your computer, or click Cancel.

If you click Cancel, remember to restart your computer later to complete the installation process.
