As mentioned above Avid does not assume any technical or customer support responsibilities for Avid Free DV. The help and documentation available for Avid Free DV is actually the Avid Xpress Products online help system. This system includes many features that are not available with Avid Free DV. These features have been grayed out or do not appear in the application, but are available on the Avid Xpress Pro or Avid Xpress DV models.
The Avid Xpress Products online help system includes a contents list, search capabilities, and context-sensitive Help. To access the Help system, from within the Avid Free DV application, select Avid Free DV Help from the Help menu. To find out about a particular window or dialog box, with the cursor on the window, press F1 (Windows) or the Help key (Macintosh). This will take you to the online help topic specific to the item you clicked on.
