Image ALT Text is what you often see when you hover over an image on a web page with your cursor. It should be descriptive of the image or the web page that clicking on the image will take you to. AddWeb 4 will only reference ALT Text if editing an existing web page. AddWeb 4 does not use images in Doorway pages, making them load quickly.
Image
This is the URL link to the image as it appears in the HTML source of your Home Page. Image source links are typically 'Relative Links' which means they only point to a folder containing the image file located on your web server. i.e. ../images/mypic.jpg
Alt Text
Each image should have ALT text associated with it. The reasons behind this are fairly simple. First, it helps visitors understand what the image or image link is. Second, it allows search engine Spiders/Robots to comprehend the content in your web page. The easier it is for the search engines to understand the content, the less likely it is that they will index you at an unfavorable position.
