Starting the Activator
To start the noware Activator simply open the Activator.html file with your java enabled browser.
We suggest the release versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0 and Netscape Navigator 3.0.
The Activator is a java applet so the activator will begin to run as soon as the web browser has opened the
"Activator.html" file.
If you are reading this page in Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0 and Netscape Navigator 3.0 the
just run the Activator!
Help with classes and directories
These instructions will help you to determine the "Image path" for your gif's, JPEG's, and sound files.
Be sure you follow these instructions -- or your noware applets won't
run.
1.Make a directory/folder.
Put all the sounds and/or images you'll be using in it.
Give it any name you like... ..."DUKE", for example.
2.Put "DUKE" (or create it) inside the Activator's CLASSES directory/folder.
You'll find it next to the Activator directory/folder when you unzip the
Activator.
3. Make your applets using the Activator.
Paste the java code the Activator
produces into your HTML file.
4. Then copy CLASSES, (which contains "DUKE"),
INTO the directory/folder that
contains your HTML file.
Note: When copied into the directory/folder that contains your HTML file,
CLASSES may automatically be named "COPY OF CLASSES." If so, YOU MUST RENAME
IT "CLASSES."
5.Then ftp your HTML file directory/folder (which now contains CLASSES and "DUKE")
to your Net server.
