Modeling in 3D

AutoCAD LT provides two methods for creating models in 3D. You can simulate simple 3D surfaces for visualization by specifying a thickness value for objects drawn in 2D, extruding or extending them in the Z direction. For example, you can use thickness to generate realistic 3D images from 2D floor plans.

Use wireframe modeling to create an accurate representation of a real-world object by drawing its edges in 3D. Wireframe modeling is often used for drafting and analyzing parts.
