Although AutoCAD LT is used primarily for two-dimensional (2D) drawings, it does have some three-dimensional (3D) capabilities. You can specify points in 3D space to create and place objects as a wireframe model. You can create simple surfaces for shading and removing hidden lines. In addition, you can view your drawing from a variety of viewpoints.
Many of these features are useful not only for creating drawings in AutoCAD LT but also for viewing 3D AutoCAD drawings in AutoCAD LT.
