Adding Text to a Leader

To create a leader using the Multiline Text Editor

  1. From the Dimension menu, choose Leader.
  2. Specify the From and To points of the leader.
  3. Press ENTER to end the leader.
  4. To add a paragraph of text, at the Annotation prompt, press ENTER to display the options.
  5. Enter m (Mtext).
  6. In the Multiline Text Editor dialog box, format and enter the text.

    If you want the text lines to wrap, specify a width on the Properties tab.

  7. Then choose OK.

When you exit the editor, the text is appended to the leader endpoint with a specified gap. Specify this gap in the Dimension Style dialog box (DDIM) under Text.
