Changing Multiline Text

To create multiline text

  1. From the Draw menu, choose Paragraph Text.
  2. Specify the corners of the text boundary, or enter a width value on the command line.
  3. In the Multiline Text Editor dialog box, enter the text, allowing it to wrap to the next line.

Words that extend beyond the boundary rectangle you specified wrap to the next line in the Multiline Text Editor dialog box. If one word is longer than the width you specified for the text object, it will extend beyond the text boundary.

You can use the standard Windows control keys to enter text.

  4. Choose OK.

Note: If your monitor is set to display 256 colors or less, text objects that have colors assigned to them might not be displayed correctly in the Multiline Text Editor dialog box.
