Creating Stacked Text

To create stacked text

  1. From the Draw menu, choose Paragraph Text.
  2. Specify the text boundary location and other properties as needed.
  3. In the Multiline Text Editor dialog box, create text.
  4. Insert a caret (^) symbol to indicate where to begin the lower line. For fractions, use a slash (/) between numerator and denominator. Highlight the text that you want to align vertically and click the Stack icon on the Character tab.

When you are entering fractional numbers, the slash is converted to a horizontal bar the length of the longer number.

  5. Choose OK.
