Finding Content

To locate drawing files and blocks, you can specify criteria with the Find dialog box, or you can browse through drives and folders using Tree View. The Current Dwg tab lists all block definitions in the current drawing.

Locating Content Using the Find Dialog Box

The Find dialog box accepts criteria for locating drawing files and blocks. The criteria you specify can include

AutoCAD LT searches the specified drives and folders for drawing files and blocks that match the criteria you entered. The search results are displayed in a list at the bottom of the AutoCAD LT Find dialog box. Double-clicking on a name in the list displays the drawing name or icon in the Content View area along with other drawings in the folder.

Examining Content with Content View
