OPENURL Command
Opens a DWG file from an Internet address

The Open DWG from URL dialog box is displayed.
To open AutoCAD LT drawings directly from the Internet, use OPENURL. You can enter a URL using http, ftp, or file formats.
Note: AutoCAD LT Internet Utilities cannot transfer files using ftp when you are connected to the Internet through a proxy server.
You specify the address of the Internet site with the drawing you want to open in this dialog box.
Options
Use Options to specify how your computer is connected to the Internet, whether by direct connection or proxy server, and to enter your login, user names, and passwords.
FTP Login
Anonymous Login. Select to log in anonymously and enter the user name anonymous with no password. Clear to log in to a secured server and enter your user name and password.
Note: The FTP password is not remembered across AutoCAD LT sessions.
HTTP Secure Access. Enter your user name and password if your regularly access HTTP addresses that require authentication. If you leave these values blank, and the address requires authentication, you will be prompted.

Connection
Direct Connection. Select if you have a connection to the Internet through an ISP (Internet service provider).
Proxy Server. Select if you have a connection through a machine that serves as a gateway between a companyÆs internal intranet and the external Internet. If you do not know if you are using a proxy server you can usually look at the proxy settings in your browser by selecting Options or you can contact your network system administrator.
Proxy Information
Proxy Server Name. Enter the proxy server name that you found by using Options in your browser or that your network system administrator supplied you.
FTP Port. The default port is automatically set. To select another port, enter its number.
HTTP Port. The default port is automatically set. To select another port, enter its number.
