The two specified points become the endpoints of a line about which the selected objects are reflected. In 3D, this line orients a mirroring plane perpendicular to the XY plane of the UCS containing the mirror line.
Delete old objects? <N>: Enter y or n or press ENTER
Entering n or pressing ENTER
places the reflected image in the drawing and retains the original
objects. Entering y places the reflected image in the
drawing and deletes the original objects.

To manage the reflection properties of text objects, use the MIRRTEXT system variable. The default setting of MIRRTEXT is on (1), which causes a text object to be mirrored just like any other object. When MIRRTEXT is off (0), text is not mirrored.

System Variables: MIRRTEXT controls whether text is reflected with the MIRROR command.
