Conversion of AutoCAD LT Objects

The table describes how objects specific to AutoCAD LT 97 are handled when converted to AutoCAD LT for Windows 95 format. Information contained in system variables that are new in AutoCAD LT 97 is lost when the drawing is saved in AutoCAD LT for Windows 95 format.

Linetype table Shape definitions ignored.
Multiline Converted to a collection of lines, polylines, arcs, filled arcs, and filled polygons. Color and linetype may be differentiated for each polyline. Color may be differentiated for each filled polygon.

Ray Converted to a line object whose length is defined by the boundary of the extents of the other objects and limits in the drawing. If the ray does not cross the imaginary bounding box that defines the extents, the ray is discarded in the Windows 3.1 version.

TrueType font Converted to txt.shx fonts.
New system variables Ignored.
Tolerance Converted to polylines and text.
Xline Converted to a line object whose length is defined by the boundary of the extents of the other objects and the limits in the drawing. If the construction line does not cross the imaginary bounding box that defines the extents, the construction line is discarded in the Windows 95 version.
