Creating PostScript Files
To create a PostScript (EPS) file
- From the File menu, choose Export.
- In the Export Data dialog box, enter a file name.
- At Save As Type, select Encapsulated PS (*.eps), and then choose Options.
- In the Export Options dialog box under What to Plot, select an option to specify the area in the drawing to use for the PostScript file.
- Under Preview, specify whether you want to include an EPSI or TIFF screen preview or no preview for desktop publishing applications.
- Under Size Units, specify whether to use inches or millimeters.
- Under Scale, specify a scale for the EPS output using one of these methods:
- Specify a custom scale based on the size of the plotted output compared with the actual size represented in the drawing. For example, entering 1=10 produces output in which each plotted inch
represents 10 actual inches.
- Select Fit to Paper to scale the output to fill the paper.
- Under Paper Size, specify a standard paper size or a custom size that you have defined in the Plot Configuration dialog box.
- Choose OK. Then choose Save to exit the Create PostScript File dialog box.
