Calculating Areas

To subtract areas from a calculation

1. While a combined area is displayed, enter s (Subtract).
2. Use one of the following methods:
   
   • Specify points to define the area you want to subtract and press ENTER.
   • Enter o (Object) and select the objects you want to subtract.
   
   AutoCAD LT updates the running total as you define new areas.
   
3. Press ENTER to end the command.
