Dividing an Object into Equal Segments

To insert blocks at a specified number of intervals on an object

  1. If necessary, create the block you want to insert.
  2. From the Draw menu, choose Point. Then choose Divide.
  3. Select a line, arc, circle, ellipse, polyline, or spline.
  4. On the command line, enter b (Block).
  5. Enter the name of the block you want to insert.
  6. Enter y to align the blocks with the divided object. Enter n to use a rotation angle of 0 degrees.
  7. Enter the number of intervals you want.

AutoCAD LT inserts a block between each two intervals on the object.
