Specifying Measured Intervals on an Object

To insert blocks at measured intervals on an object

  1. If necessary, create the block you want to insert.
  2. From the Draw menu, choose Point. Then choose Measure.
  3. Select the object you want to measure.
  4. On the command line, enter b (Block).
  5. Enter the name of the block you want to insert.
  6. Enter y to align the blocks with the measured object. Enter n to use a rotation angle of 0 degrees.
  7. Enter an interval length, or specify points on the screen to indicate a length.

AutoCAD LT inserts blocks on the object at the specified intervals.
