In the following example, you make an opening in a rectangle using BREAK and the tracking method. By using tracking, you can specify the break points at a relative distance from the corners of the rectangle.
Command: Enter break
Select object: Select the rectangle
Enter second point (or F for first point): Enter f
Enter first point: Enter tracking
First tracking point: Enter int of Select the lower-left corner of the rectangle
Next point: Move the cursor to the right. Enter 2 and press ENTER twice
Enter second point: Enter tracking
Second tracking point: Enter int of Select the lower-right corner of the rectangle
Next point: Move the cursor to the left. Enter 4 and press ENTER twice
A break appears in the wall.
