Displaying Coordinates on the Status Bar

To visually locate a point

1. From the Tools menu, choose Drawing Aids.
2. In the Drawing Aids dialog box under Modes, select Blips. Then choose OK.
3. From the Tools menu, choose Inquiry. Then choose ID Point.
4. On the command line, enter the coordinate of the point you want to locate.

   Since the BLIPMODE system variable is on, a blip (a small cross) appears at the point location.
   

5. Turn off blips following steps 1 and 2.
