Positioning Dimension Text Horizontally

To place text with the User Defined option

1. From the Dimension menu, choose Style.
2. In the Dimension Styles dialog box, choose Format.
3. In the Format dialog box, select User Defined.
4. Choose OK to exit each dialog box.

As you create dimensions, you can move the text along the dimension line. Use the pointing device or enter coordinates to specify the dimension line and text locations.
