Controlling the Display of Primary Units

To add and format primary units

1. From the Dimension menu, choose Style.
2. In the Dimension Styles dialog box, choose Annotation.
3. In the Annotation dialog box under Primary Units, choose Units.
4. In the Primary Units dialog box under Units, select a unit type from the list of dimension types. For angular dimensions, select an angle type from the Angles list.
5. Under Dimension, select a precision value for the primary units.
6. Choose OK.
7. In the Annotation dialog box under Primary Units, enter any prefix and suffix for the displayed dimension, and choose OK.
