Creating Dimension Styles

To create a family member dimension style

1. From the Dimension menu, choose Style.
2. In the Dimension Styles dialog box under Dimension Style, select the dimension style for which you want to create a dimension style variation.
3. Under Family, select the type of dimension (family member), and the style variation.
   
   • Select linear to apply the variation only to linear dimensions
   • Select radial to apply the variation only to radius dimensions
   • And so on
4. Make the dimension style modifications by choosing Geometry, Format, or Annotation.
5. In the Dimension Styles dialog box, select Save.
6. Choose OK.

The family member dimension style is saved. When you next open the Dimension Styles dialog box, the Parent dimension style is selected by default.
