Creating Dimension Styles
To create a parent dimension style
- From the Dimension menu, choose Style.
- In the Dimension Styles dialog box, enter a dimension style name in the Name box, and choose Save.
- Choose Geometry to define the appearance of the dimension line, extension lines, arrowheads, and center marks or lines, and the scale of the dimension.
- Choose Format to define the positioning of the dimension text.
- Choose Annotation to define the primary and alternate units, tolerances, text style, gap, color, and rounding-off value.
- In the Dimension Styles dialog box, select Save to save your changes to the new dimension style. Then choose OK.
