AutoCAD LT has a set of standard toolbars. You can add tools to these default toolbars, remove tools you use infrequently, and rearrange tools and toolbars to best suit your needs. You can also create your own toolbars. In addition, you can change the tool associated with a command, or change the command associated with a tool.
The Toolbars dialog box provides a list of tool categories that correspond to categories of AutoCAD LT commands. Each category has a set of tool icons. You can use these tool icons or create your own. You can reposition tools on a toolbar, add space between them, and adjust the toolbar's shape. You can also change the name of the toolbar. A toolbar changes size automatically when tools are added or deleted.
If you have not customized toolbars before, it is recommended that you experiment on new toolbars before you change an existing one.
