Setting Interface Preferences
To customize AutoCAD LT colors
- From the Tools menu, choose Preferences.
- In the Preferences dialog box, choose the Color tab.
If you have a monochrome display, the Monochrome Vectors box already is selected. You might want to select this option if you have problems displaying elements on a gray-scale monitor.
- On the Color tab, select the element you want to change by clicking it in the Graphics Window or Text Window area: graphics window background, text window background, text window text, crosshair color,
command window background, or command window text. You also can select an area from the Window Element list.
- Under Basic Colors, select the color you want to use. To change the color using the RGB (red, green, blue) colors, drag the slider controls next to R, G, and B or enter a number from 0 through 255
in the box.
The display changes to show how the color will look.
- If you want to revert to the colors specified by the Windows Control Panel, choose System Colors.
- Choose OK to record the current preference settings in the system registry and close the Preferences dialog box.
