Controlling Line Width

You can set line width as you draw, or you can use color assignments to set line width when you plot. Specifically, you can use one of two methods:

If you change the width of a polyline, you will see the new width on the screen. If you assign a color to a line and to a pen on your plotter or raster printer, you will not see the new line width on the screen, but the line will plot at the width of the pen.

Even if you use a black-and-white plotter, colors can be used to control line width. You make this assignment when you plot by assigning each color number to a different pen on your plotter or raster printer. Your plotter then uses the pen or pen width associated with the color.
