Setting the Current Color

To set the color for all new objects

1. On the Object Properties toolbar, click the Color Control.
2. Choose a color.

Click Other to display the Select Color dialog box. In the Select Color dialog box, choose a color or enter the color name or number in the Color box.

• If you choose BYLAYER, new objects acquire the color assigned to the current layer.
• If you choose BYBLOCK, new objects are drawn in the default color until they are grouped into a block. When the block is inserted into the drawing, those objects in the block acquire the current color setting.

The Color Control displays the current color.
