Managing Layer Visibility in a Layout

To create new layers that are frozen in all viewports

1. Make sure that you are in floating model space. (On the status bar, MODEL is on and TILE is off.)
2. On the Object Properties toolbar, choose Layers.
3. Choose New, and rename the new layer.
4. If necessary, choose Details.
5. Under Details, select Freeze in New Viewports.
6. Press OK.
