Managing Layer Visibility in a Layout

To freeze or thaw layers in paper space

1. Make sure that you are in paper space. (On the status bar, PAPER is on and TILE is off.)
2. On the Object Properties toolbar, choose Layers.
3. In the third column, Freeze/Thaw in All Viewports, click the icon.
   You can select a range of layers to freeze or thaw by pressing SHIFT as you click.
4. Press OK.
