Scaling Text and Dimensions (MSPACE)

To set text size for model space

  1. From the Draw menu, choose Paragraph Text or Single Line Text.
  2. Enter the start point location (or, for paragraph text, the first and opposite corners).
  3. Enter a value for the text height.

The text height is computed by multiplying the desired height by the inverse of the drawing scale. If the desired text height is 0.25 inches and the drawing scale is ΒΌ inch = 1 foot (1:48), the text size is multiplied by the inverse of 1/48 (48) to get 12 inches for the text height value.

  4. Enter the text and complete the command.
