Chapter 7 Uninstalling

7.1 Uninstalling GameDrive

Step 1 Close any other programs which may be running

Step 2 If the GameDrive icon is displayed in the System tray, right click on the icon and select Exit from the pop-up menu.

Step 3 To uninstall the GameDrive program, click on Start in the Windows taskbar, select (a) Programs/GameDrive/Uninstall GameDrive or (b)    alternatively select Start/Settings/Control Panel and double click on the Add/Remove Programs icon to open the Add/Remove Programs dialog (Figure 7-1a), select GameDrive then click on the Add/Remove button. Either method will launch the GameDrive Uninstall Wizard (Figure 7-1b). Click on Remove to continue.

      Step 4 Click on Finish to complete the uninstall.

the uninstall program will now remove all files created by GameDrive, except the virtual CD files (files with the “VCD” extension). These CD files can be deleted by using Windows Explorer.
