With the release of the RS Toolkit 2000, several new
things are introduced. Past versions have been written in Visual C++ and
the new version has been written in Visual Basic to make adding the
database features easier. Because of the Online Server Listings, the
initial download size of the download is 7megs. Once you have downloaded
this one time, you never have to download it again. You will simply have
to download a 200k .exe file for future updates. The new version of the
RS Toolkit uses MDAC (Microsoft Data Access Components) to communicate
with an SQL server. If can't do the initial full install, we
have provided a LITE version for you that does NOT feature the online
server listings. The LITE version is a lot smaller
to download but it does not feature the ability to browse servers
online. To use this feature you need the FULL version.
