General information about
'Auto Comments'

An auto comment will only generated:

• If "Disable all auto comments" is unchecked,
• If "Generate auto comments" for a specific tag is checked,
• If the number of linebreaks for a tag is > 0
• Only when you format a file.

It’s irrelevant if the start-tag and end-tag text fields are empty or not.
