To Specify the Object's Response to the Event

To specify how the object responds to the event, you enter a Micrografx QuickSilver command (or list of commands) as the "value" of the event.

  1. Select the object in your Designer drawing.
  2. On the Object menu, click Properties. The Properties dialog box opens.

  3. Click the event in the Properties list.
  4. Type the command (for example, ObjectColor red) in the Value field, and press Enter. The command appears next to the event in the Properties list. In this example, when the user moves the mouse pointer over this object, the object changes to a red color.

Note: Merely pressing Tab to advance to the next control in the dialog box does not enter the value; you must either press Enter or click the arrow at the right of the field.
