Setting a note's passwordYou can give a note a password such that, when hidden, it cannot be shown without the proper entering of this password. This is useful for notes with sensitive information on them. To set a note's password, you must open the "Password" pane in the Properties dialog. Right-click the note to get the note’s context menu, and choose "Properties…" from the Settings menu. Or, you can simply double-click the title bar of your note. Then, select the "Password" pane at the top of the window which appears. You must type your password in twice, in the shown edit boxes. Having typed in the password twice, identically, you can select the "Use password" box. Once you have selected this box, your password will be used. When you've finished setting up your password, click the "OK" button. |
