Help Turning "On" Java

First, make sure you are using a Java-enabled browser such as:

Netscape Navigator (3.0 or later), or

Microsoft Internet Explorer (3.0 or later).

Next, if you are using a Macintosh, make sure your browser has enough memory allocated to run Java.

Using Netscape Navigator (Macintosh version), set the preferred application size to at least 14,000K (14 MB).

Using Microsoft Internet Explorer (Macintosh version), set the preferred application size to at least 8,000K (8 MB).

Finally, make sure you've enabled Java in the browser:

Using Netscape Navigator, open the "Network Preference" dialog box under the "Options" menu. Check the box labeled "Enable Java."

Using Microsoft Internet Explorer, open the "Preferences" dialog box under the "Edit" menu and select the "Web Content" tab. Check the box labeled "Java."
