HighEdit Pro

The programmable word processor

HighEdit Pro permits complete integration of word processing within your Windows 3.1, Windows 95 and Windows NT. A completely new table function has been integrated into HighEdit Pro. You will find this function similar to table functions within other familiar word processing.

HighEdit was optimised by an integrated data field logic for the interplay with data from different data bank systems.

High Edit provides a range of more than 200 functions, events and properties. It is therefore highly functional, flexible and supplies you with adequate power to design your own solutions.

Flexibility and the possibility for individual programming make it possible that HighEdit can be used for a large number of applications. The toolbars can be processed program-controlled, which provides the chance of adding and formatting strings, of putting in Data Fields while running other documents, of creating Data Fields with individual subjects and of saving the whole document directly into a Data Base. In fact, HighEdit is predestined for :

Tables - A table enables you to insert numerical and text columns without the use of tab stops. The wide range of formats for the table frame helps you to create professional looking documents. A column can be created by making the table frame invisible. Tables in this way offer a partical solution for writing text next to other text or placing text alongside graphics.

RTF Clipboard - RTF clipboard format is supported via copy/paste.

HyperLinks - You can define marked text as a HyperLink, which is then linked to an ID. You can then reach HighEdit's internal Hyperlink table and place HyperLink text in it. HyperLinks can be highlighted (in colour) without the text format changing. They also be activated / deactivated.

BookMarks - BookMarks are points in a text marked with single ID. If you alter text content, even in front of a BookMark, the BookMark position does not alter. BookMarks can also be highlighted in the same way as HyperText, the document format remains the same.
