The MIDI Pack is a collection of controls that make developing MIDI oriented programming easier. The MIDI Pack is not a sequencer, sysex librarian, music notation program or a replacement for the Windows MCI. The MIDI Pack is a collection of custom controls specifically designed for Visual Basic, to be used for developing MIDI applications for Windows. The industry standard MIDI specifications were followed for this development. By following these specifications, we laid out a pallet of custom controls for you to use to potentially develop whatever MIDI applications you desire.
The MIDI Pack is made up of eight controls. Three controls give you MIDI device input and output (MIDI I/O), file access (MIDIFile). The other five controls are interface widgets that give feedback (Indicator), and user input (Knob and Slider). With the MIDI Pack, you have complete access to all MID data, including Sysex messages.
Every control in the MIDI Pack comes as a VBX, 16-bit OCX and 32-bit OCX (ActiveX control / OLE control).
